11:40 p.m. A Tehran resident tells Tehran Bureau:
I wandered on down to Vanak, shopping in hand, the place was teeming with security on all corners of the square, plenty of plain-clothed police, some of whom sat in cars around the square. I'd not seen this before, that many parked cars occupying the now unused end strip of the bus lane.
