I wandered on down to Vanak, shopping in hand, the place was teeming with security on all corners of the square, plenty of plain-clothed police, some of whom sat in cars around the square. I'd not seen this before, that many parked cars occupying the now unused end strip of the bus lane. At first I thought they were cars claimed due to sounding of the horn, but upon a second pass there were people that sat within them. Read more...
